a tourism office, three community halls (two conference rooms and a sprung floor dance room;
these may be rented singly or combined as all three),
municipal offices (upstairs), and a theatre, named North Grenville Theatre (NGT).

People asked, "Why build a performance theatre?".
The following answer was put forth in the proposal for the NGMC.
"Current venues for local theatre groups and performing arts organizations
consist of gymnasiums, church halls and school auditoriums. These facilities
are restricted to small stages with inadequate support space (stage wings,
dressing rooms, set workshop, prop and wardrobe storage, etc.). Additional
sound and lighting equipment must be rented at added cost. Audience seating
is limited and not always the most comfortable. Under all these conditions,
North Grenville risks missing out on the further development of local arts
and culture expression which contributes to the personal growth of community
members as well as having the potential to be an economic and tourism draw
for our area."
