Group Discounts
For this play, we would like to invite groups of people to receive discounted ticket prices.
Anyone can take advantage of this ticket promotion, although this initiative is aimed primarily at
service groups (Lions, Probus, Red Hat Society, etc). Here's the deal.
A group of 10 to 19 people,
when booked together, will receive a 10% discount off the regular $15 tickets. A group of 20 to 29
people will receive a 20% discount. A group of 30 to 39 people will receive a 30% discount.
A group of 40 or more people will receive a 40% discount. These discounts apply to all shows;
the Wednesday show group discount is based on $15 tickets.
To qualify, please call our info line at 613-258-2260, and leave the name and telephone number
of your contact person, name of your group, the performance you wish to attend, and the number
of tickets required. We will inform out ticket outlet (Business Strategies) of your contact's name,
telephone number, and discount rate that applies. That person will be required to pick up all
the tickets at Business Strategies (aka Home and Beyond) before the day of the show.
We regret we cannot reserve tickets at discounted rates for pick up at the door.
We ask that the each group only apply once. That is, the same group cannot apply on one show for
a 20% discount, and on another show at a 10% discount. Also, the same group should not have more
than one contact. (Otherwise it quickly becomes too confusing for us.)
We are sure that you will enjoy this play, which 18 different vignettes around the central
theme of how the role of the family has changed over the decades, as reflected by slices of life
that take place in the dining room. The scenes intersect each other physically, but the actors
in each scene are in different eras. Sometimes when the scenes overlap, both sets of actors are
on the stage at the same time, but they do not interact with each other. The play is by turns
happy and sad, sweet and sour, poignant and flip. It resonates with audiences. You will see your
own family somewhere in this broad spectrum of life, which ultimately is the purpose of theatre
-- to mirror the real world.
